Kim Buchholz, Kim Caugh and Melissa Smith from the Finance Team of U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (“USBCDC”), a subsidiary of U.S. Bank, joined us in our office on March 5, 2019 to volunteer. They chose Girls on the Run St. Louis as one of the organizations to volunteer with during their company provided community service hours for the year. It is thanks to their efforts that we:

  • Prepared 5,000+ race day bibs for participants and coaches ready for fun box pickup
  • Assigned 160+ Famous Footwear shoe vouchers assigned to participants with demonstrated need

Each in-office volunteer activity has a huge impact on the success of our program. It is because of rockstar volunteers like Kim, Kim and Melissa that we are able to continue to provide individualized communication to each program site. Thank you for volunteering with us!

USBCDC provides financing solutions for community development projects across the country using state and federally sponsored tax credit programs. USBCDC's commitments provide capital investment to areas that need it the most and have contributed to the creation of new jobs, the rehabilitation of historic buildings, the construction of needed affordable and market-rate homes, the development of renewable energy facilities, and the generation of commercial economic activity in underserved communities.
