This year was meant to be my first Boston Marathon, which of course was cancelled -twice! - and then replaced by a virtual marathon. My 30th birthday happens to fall in the Boston Marathon virtual window, so I've decided to not only run the marathon but tack on an extra 3.8 miles to make it an even 30 miles- further than I've ever run before!

Girls on the Run in St. Louis has sparked the GOTRverse, which is an ever-expanding galaxy of SuperStars. The GOTRverse is made up of lots and lots of all-star girls, of course. ... Though it’s growing bigger and stronger each season, it has a special celestial glue that keeps it all together. Inclusion!
We at Girls on the Run St. Louis are grieving and are outraged alongside our community. The murder of George Floyd and the collective cries across our country and in our own community have evermore made apparent our need to follow the Girls on the Run Core Value to "recognize our power and responsibility to be intentional in our decision making." At Girls on the Run St. Louis we know that this must be at the forefront of everything we do for our Girls on the Run. Every Black person has the right to live and thrive in community without fear of violence or racism.
The world has changed so much since we embarked on the Spring 2020 Girls on the Run season. We steadfastly remain focused on the social, emotional and physical health of our girls and our community. And although we can’t be together physically right now, we are so excited about the positive impact that GOTR at Home is having on our GOTR community.
