Fall 2017 Timeline

July 31 | Program registration opens.

For the safety of our girls and to preserve program quality, team size is limited based on the number of volunteer coaches. We will notify families via email as quickly as possible.

In the event that a program participant would like to cancel her registration for whatever reason, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to contact the Girls on the Run St. Louis office to withdraw from the program. Notifying coaches is not sufficient.

Girls on the Run will issue a full refund if a girl drops the program by the end of the second week of practice. A 50% refund will be given during the third week of practice. No refund will be issued for any cancellations beyond the third week of practice. If a site is canceled due to insufficient registration or other circumstances deemed appropriate by the Program Director, the full registration fee will be refunded.

Deadline for full refund: September 15, 2017
Deadline for 50% refund: September 22, 2017
No refunds after September 22, 2017

Please note: If your participant does not attend practices but you do not contact our office to cancel, you will still be held responsible for paying any outstanding program fees.

Attendance Policy

Girls are not allowed to attend only one practice a week. Parents/guardians should not register their daughters for the program if there is a known conflict.

Due to the importance of group dynamics and the experiential learning process of the Girls on the Run curriculum, girls who are absent for more than four (4) practices during one season are in violation of the Girls on the Run attendance policy. Girls on the Run St. Louis reserves the right to cancel the registration of the girl in violation. In that event, she will not be allowed to participate in the 5k unless she is registered separately for the 5k.

Late Guardian Policy

Guardians are expected to pick up their girls from practice on time; no later than 10 minutes after practice has ended. Please remember that our coaches are volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to their GOTR team and we want to respect their commitment. Please make sure you have made arrangements for your girl to be picked up on time; ongoing tardiness will not be tolerated.

Privacy Policy

All coaches will receive your child's allergy, health history and emergency contact information so that they can be prepared in an emergency situation. Our privacy policy ensures your information will be protected and used only for health and emergency related purposes.
