Lisa Mulligan

Lisa Mulligan, Program Director, joined the Girls on the Run St Louis staff in December, 2016.  Prior to Girls on the Run, Lisa spent 8 years living and working in Denver, Colorado with Invest in Kids, a statewide nonprofit focused upon the replication of evidence-based early childhood prevention programs. As the Director of Community Development for The Incredible Years program, a social-emotional curriculum for young children, their parents and their teachers, Lisa's main focus was the sustainable replication of the program at the community level. Lisa is passionate about prevention work, particularly related to the physical and mental health of young people. She is excited to be part of Girls on the Run because she is committed to working towards the health and well-being of all girls in St. Louis...our community's future leaders!

Lisa grew up in St. Louis and then went to the University of Dayton for her undergraduate degree in Psychology (minors in Social Work and Spanish). She went on to earn a Master of Social Work degree from The Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Lisa lives in South City with her husband and 2 young children.
