Laura Roeseler - Development Director

A skilled development professional with more than seven years of fundraising experience, including annual fund management, individual, corporate and foundation giving, volunteer coordination, and event planning, Laura is proud to call St. Louis home.  She received her B.A. in history, and a minor in French, from Truman State University in 2003.

Her development roots were planted at St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf and grew further at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and College Bound St. Louis.  Most recently, she planned and executed an $800,000 fundraising gala at College Bound, significantly exceeding the fundraising goal.

With a passion for philanthropy, personally and professionally, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) St. Louis Regional Chapter and previously volunteered as a member of the Steering Committee for the Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure.  She is also involved in the Parent/Teacher Organization at her eldest son’s elementary school.

Laura resides in South St. Louis County with her husband, Matt, and their two rambunctious boys, Nick and Jack.  A “Half Fanatic,” having completed three half marathons in three months, Laura finds joy and “a feeling of invincibility,” through running – something she hopes for all our Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole participants.
