Youth Opportunity Program (YOP) Tax Credit Information

The Youth Opportunity Program (YOP), administered by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, provides tax credits to individuals or organizations administering positive youth development projects.
All individuals, LLCs, partnerships, banks or corporations with Missouri tax liability are eligible for the program. Any donation of $1,000 or more gives you a 50% state tax credit.
Our YOP donations are used to fund our Adopt-a-School Program, enabling GOTR St. Louis to offer the program to Missouri girls in identified, lower socioeconomic areas by helping to provide need-based scholarships as well as helping to underwrite program costs. Approximately 70% of our girls are on some form of scholarship and it is our philosophy to never turn a girl away due to financial need.
