Local Partners

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s mission is to improve the lives of the people we serve and the health of our communities. Through its support of Girls on the Run St. Louis, Anthem is helping to realize this mission by empowering girls to make healthy choices.
 

Owned by native St. Louisan Matt Helbig, the philosophy of Big River Running is to be St. Louis’ local running and walking resource and to make it the best shopping experience possible for selecting the proper running shoes and apparel to make you a better runner, training and socializing with the running and walking community. Big River Running has been a valued partner of Girls on the Run St. Louis for more than five years.
 
 
Blues for Kids Foundation, has the mission to build St. Louis’ future by positively impacting programs and services that improve health and wellness of the youth in St. Louis Area. Blues for Kids focuses on education, health and wellness and youth hockey outreach. Blues for Kids will allow the Blues to build upon that tradition while focusing on improving the health and wellness of area youth. The club will continue to utilize current players, its strong alumni network and key partners to leverage their resources and improve the lives of children in need to create a bright future for St. Louis. Girls on the Run St. Louis is proud to partner with Blues for Kids and the St. Louis Blues.
 
 
Clayco, the Art & Science of Building, is a real estate, architecture, engineering, design-build and constructions firm based out of St. Louis and Chicago, and focuses on delivering products that are above their client’s expectations. CBS Radio St. Louis is proud to partner with Girls on the Run St. Louis and supports the organization through two local radio stations, 102.5 KEZK and Y98. Both CBS stations are staffed with 100% live and local, community involved personalities and keeps the St. Louis community going with great music everyday.

The Emerson Charitable Trust provides financial assistance and other support to local organizations in the United States that improve and enrich lives, promote volunteerism, sponsor education, and provide services to those in need. Emerson units throughout the rest of the world undertake similar responsibilities consistent with practices in the countries in which we operate. We encourage employees to be involved, and many devote their time and energy to causes and organizations in their community. Emerson efforts focus on instilling character and values in young people during their developmental years and they have been a long time supporter of Girls on the Run St. Louis.

Express Scripts

Express Scripts has a mission to enable access to health and medical services, educate underserved youth and strengthen communities by aiding children and families in need through their charitable giving. FOX Sports Midwest is the television home of Cardinals and the Blues, your home for St. Louis sports and is proud to support Girls on the Run St. Louis. Fox Sports Midwest has been involved as volunteer coaches, runners and continues to document and share the excitement of the Girls on the Run program.
 

SSM Physical Therapy offers a wide array of outpatient services at multiple locations throughout the St. Louis Metro area. Using a one-on-one model, predominantly sports medicine approach, their licensed physical therapists apply evidence based techniques and advanced technologies to restore function and independence to patients.
 

One of the premier children’s hospitals in the US, St. Louis Children’s Hospital has been a pillar of the St. Louis community since 1879. SLCH gives back to the community in many ways, including offering programs on nutrition and fitness, childhood immunizations, home safety needs for special needs children, car seat and helmet safety and injury prevention.
 
 
St. Louis District Dairy Council (SLDDC) is a St. Louis-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to communicate the role and necessity of dairy foods as part of a healthful diet. Since 1932, SLDDC has partnered with leaders in the health care field, education and across the St. Louis community. SLDDC prides itself on personal delivery of nutrition programming in the varied communities it serves. St. Louis District Dairy Council welcomes the challenge of continuing to spread the word about the value and benefits of dairy foods on behalf of local dairy producer partners in Missouri and Illinois. Girls on the Run St. Louis and SLDDC have partnered together to reach the greater St. Louis community and encourage healthy lifestyles. Keep an eye out for a fun SLDDC sponsored contest and a chance to show off your smoothie making skills! We are glad to welcome St. Louis District Dairy Council back as a local partner.

The Saint Louis Track Club, founded in 1970, encourages running, walking, and fitness for persons of all ages and abilities. The club organizes events, disseminates information related to the benefits of running and physical fitness, and encourages membership. You will often find members of the Track Club running in Forest Park on Wednesday evenings during their group runs, and you will definitely see them cheering you on at the Girls on the Run St. Louis 5k events. The St. Louis Track Club has been a long time supporter of Girls on the Run - members of the Track Club are volunteer coaches, race day volunteers and are always looking for fun ways to get involved with Girls on the Run! The St. Louis Track Club has a number of events throughout the year that are open to the public, including the Frostbite series, a great way to keep moving in the winter, the Half Marathon in the Fall, and some other great events to keep you moving during the heat of the summer!
 
For over two centuries the U.S. Coast Guard has safeguarded our nation's maritime interests in the heartland, in the ports, at sea, and around the globe. Through the efforts and expertise of active and reserve Coast Guard men and women, both enlisted and commissioned, the service executes 11 diverse yet symbiotic missions on a daily basis, protecting the maritime economy and the environment, defending maritime borders, and saving those in peril. Women's Care Specialists is an all-female, private medical practice comprised of all women physicians and staff. The goal of WCS is to meet the physical, emotional, and educational needs of women from early adolescence through menopause. The physicians believe it is important to create a patient-doctor relationship relationship that goes beyond today's standards, emphasizing wellness while incorporating modern technology to ensure the most appropriate care is provided to each patient. WCS found out about Girls on the Run St. Louis when one of the physician's daughters participated in GOTR in Spring 2014 and they were thrilled to learn that GOTR-STL was about so much more than running, and that it focused on encouraging healthy living i young girls in a time when they need it most.  Girls on the Run St. Louis is excited to welcome Women's Care Specialists as a partner in Spring 2015!
Run Molly Run is a fitness inspired jewelry line based in Portland, Oregon. Inspired by her dog Molly’s boundless energy, Heather Alvey found herself suddenly drawn to running and has subsequently completed two full marathons, 12 half marathons and numerous 10k and 5k races. In 2009 Alvey started her own jewelry company which has subsequently grown into a full time endeavor.
